Here are some tips on taking notes and being organised :
- Write the Date & Subject
- Keep a separate page/divided sections for each subject
- You can add notes in the folder given. All the slides used to teach are given to you. Revise your previous lesson and read ahead to get an idea of next week’s lesson
- Add your notes to your folder in the correct section
- Use Bullet-points & stars (asterisk) to write the main parts and write in the detail when you go home
- Write “Check Recording” if there’s a specific part you’d like to listen to again. It will make it easier to find the recording you want
- Use highlighters! Create sections on the page for additional information you learnt in the class (eg name/extra details)

- Familiarise yourself with the Online Portal
- TASK: Write 7 intentions for studying Islamic Studies
- Add to your notes on Hadith Jibreel (4 Questions – Islam, Iman, Ihsan, The Hour)
SEPT 12
Add to your notes the details of the following:

- Durood Sharif (The old woman and the dream of the Prophet)
- The story of the poor blind jewish man
- The rough man who wanted to marry the Kings daughter (testing his Aspiration)

- Memorise the 7 bold letters AND the 3 crisp letters
- Abu Aswad al Du’ali is an important person. What does it mean when we say he added the dots in the arabic language (Think about the Qur’an)
- Write out the 4 types of Lahn Jaliyy (Major Mistakes)
26 SEPT
- Remember how to call your family members using respectful words: Ammi Jaan, Abu Jaan, Bhai Jaan and Baaji.
- Write a paragraph on what the subject of Aadaab is about?
- Write out the following stories and how they show the us the beautiful character of Our Prophet:
- Story of the Sour Grapes
- Story of the Poor Blind Jewish Man
- The story of the man who was told not to say “O My Son”
03 OCT
- Write 3 different ways of giving salaam – add a sentence explaining each one
- Which people are known as “Sayyid”?
- Who are your Mahram /Non Mahrams and how does this link to the topic of Musaafaha (shaking hands)
